Today marks the 16th anniversary of the World Trade Center attacks in New York. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were joined by thousands of Americans to lead a memory ceremony at the Pentagon.
During the 45-minute mark, a moment of silence took place to honor the lives lost on that tragic day. While everyone around him was silent, Trump was caught talking and fidgeting around like a toddler at church.
Watch the video, here:
Not only is that disrespectful to every brave solider, civilian, first responder, but it’s a total disgrace to our nation knowing that our so-called president can’t even manage to get it together for a few minutes to honor the lives that were taken.
Donald Trump has a history of turning tragic events into his own personal bragging sessions.
Calling in to a New York TV news broadcast, as the station aired footage of the World Trade Center towers collapsing, Trump claimed that his property would now become the tallest building in the area, totally disregarding the agony this would cause for our country.

In addition, the Sept. 11 attacks were part of Trump’s most egregious lies during his presidential campaign. Back in November 2015, the reality show mogul claimed, without any evidence, that “thousands and thousands” of Muslims in New Jersey had celebrated the news of the attacks.
“I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down. And I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down,” Trump said at a campaign rally. “Thousands of people were cheering.”
As reported by Huffington Post, Trump’s allegations which have been debunked, appeared to originate from an article published a few days after the attacks, reporting that law enforcement officials had investigated “a number of people who were allegedly seen celebrating the attacks and holding tailgate-style parties on rooftops while they watched the devastation on the other side of the river.”
And let’s not forget his remarks on the anniversary in 2013, where he tweeted his “best wishes to all, even the haters and losers, on this special date.”
“@realDonaldTrump: I would like to extend my best wishes to all, even the haters and losers, on this special date, September 11th.”

It;s hard to believe that anyone would find a word he says to be credible.
And a message to all of you Trump supporters:
These were all HIS words and HIS actions. No interpretation required. This is the man-child you appointed as our commander-in-chief; a decision you will surely (if you haven’t already) regret.
