The last couple of days have been very traumatic for the people of Charlottesville as a result of the rioting led by white supremacist and, let’s call it them who they are, domestic terrorist.
Three people have lost their lives because of white people who were upset at the removal of a statue that promoted racism. Charlottesville mayor, Michael Signer, has already said that the Donald Trump is to blame. But in his Sunday morning interview with CNN, he elaborated and still stood firm on what he said.
Look at the campaign he ran. Look at the intentional courting both, on the one hand, of all these white supremacists, white nationalist groups like that, anti-Semitic groups.
This is true, since campaigning, Trump has befriended known racist and affiliates of the KKK. Steve Bannon and even A.G. Jeff Sessions. David Duke, a former KKK-leader felt so comfortable to announce while marching with the terrorists (that’s what they are), that this is only what Trump promised and they are helping to bring it to fruition.
We are determined to take our country back. We are going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump. That’s what we believed in, that’s why we voted for Donald Trump. Because he said he’s going to take our country back. That’s what we gotta do.
Wow, Signer was definitely right when he said that Trump has been encouraging this all along. He has taken endorsements from all of the extreme alt-right racists. Let’s not forget Trump even has a racist past of his own. Now people are left in fear, especially those of color on what will happen next.
