In a perfectly executed tweet, John McCain slammed Trump’s best pal Putin for invading the U.S. election and threatening our allies, while also taking a dig at Trump himself.
“Our relationship w/ Russia is at dangerous low. You can thank Putin for attacking our democracy, invading neighbors & threatening our allies.”

McCain is taking the first step for all Senators (including the GOP) to finally open up those impeachment doors.
Unlike Trump’s narcissistic tweets, Senator McCain is actually presenting a rational statement based on reality; something Trump has never been able to do. Many Americans applauded McCain for his accurate statement:
Thank you @SenJohnMcCain for speaking truth to power. Hope more GOP peers will follow your lead. Fight the good fight for US and your health

The madman in the White House doesn’t agree with you Senator McCain, but he is wrong and you’re correct.

Thank you for saying this. Every day is a new low. What will it take for the GOP to step up?

John McCain realized that we have a sitting President who defends Russia over democratically elected members of Congress and that’s a big step in the right direction. Hopefully, McCain can convince his fellow Republicans to do the same.
