Stephen and Rowling are not only for responsible for great literary works of art like Harry Potter and Children of the Corn but they are also considered huge resistance leaders on Twitter. They have been some of the bold few celebrities to use their platform to brilliantly shut down Trump time after time using his own preferred method of communication, Twitter.
So when Stephen Tweeted out that he was blocked by the President today which prevented him from trolling, it was only right that Rowling came to his rescue by giving him the access he needed to continue the call to Resistance.
According to the Huffington Post, King has been sharing his thoughts on Donald Trump to his 3.28 million followers since November. The block, however, came after King tweeted about Ivanka attempting to defend her father during a television appearance.
“If Ivanka Trump had grown up in farm country, like some of us, she’d know her father is reaping exactly what he sowed,”
It’s very surprising that Rowling has access to Trump’s account too. She is known as the QUEEN of shade when it comes to tweets directly to and about Trump. Twitter boasted about the glorious moment tweeting in excitement even calling them “super authors”.
This interaction between two author giants might be my favorite bright point in the dumpster fire that is our current Administration
