John McCain was forced to say something he probably didn’t want to say when he was asked a question about Donald Trump’s presidency. It was that former President Barack Obama was a better president than Trump. Truth hurts.
According to The Hill, McCain was asked “if the country stood on sturdier ground under Obama’s leadership” and he deny that it did.
“As far as American leadership is concerned, yes,”
It probably hurt worse to admit especially being that McCain was defeated by Obama back in the 2008 presidential elections. OUCH! The Republican senator is also known for opposing many of the foreign policy decisions made under Obama.
The senator also was asked to explain what message the President wanted to convey when he went after London’s mayor, Sadiq Khan’s through tweets after last week’s terror-related attacks in the U.K. McCain’s answer was similar to his questioning of Comey. Nobody understood it.
“What do you think the message is? The message is that America doesn’t want to lead. They are not sure of American leadership, whether it be in Siberia or whether it be in Antarctica.”
Either way, it’s clear that the President sucks at being what he was unfortunately elected to do… BE A DAMN PRESIDENT.
