Typically on Easter, presidents send heartwarming wishes and greetings to the American people –well, except for Donald Trump. The egotistical self-absorbed billionaire would rather brag and attempt to hype everyone up with his ridiculous amount of military spending. Here is what he tweeted:
“Our military is building and is rapidly becoming stronger than ever before. Frankly, we have no choice!”
Our military is building and is rapidly becoming stronger than ever before. Frankly, we have no choice!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 16, 2017
Of course, Trump isn’t the least bit concerned with what that increase does to our country. Essentially, it will be an offset by $54 billion in cuts to a variety of other domestic spending programs, including deep cuts to the EPA and State. Not only that, but Trump is setting us up for a nuclear disaster. Luckily, we have veterans along with patriotic Americans to call him out:
@realDonaldTrump America has had the strongest and most power military since before WWII. You’ve done absolutely nothing.

@realDonaldTrump We definitely have a choice. You’re dragging us into another war.

We were strong before you showed up. You have hurt our moral authority abroad and weakened our ability to defeat our enemies. https://t.co/QHEOHNZJTL

@realDonaldTrump Love how you say “we”, like you’ve got the people behind you. You don’t. Americans despise you and you’re a laughing stock to world leaders.

@realDonaldTrump There are options. There are solutions. But ultimately you’re in over your head.
…and you’re going to get us all killed.

@realDonaldTrump Our military was already, unquestionably hands-down the best in the world BEFORE you took office… you’re not responsible for any of this.

@realDonaldTrump We always have a choice…

Some people even told him to stop his endless rambling and go to church:
@realDonaldTrump Go to church this morning.

America will always have a choice–it’s called diplomacy.
