Donald Trump does not care what holiday it is – it is apparently ALWAYS the appropriate time to attack the people he is supposed to be protecting and working for as President of the United States.
On Easter Sunday, Trump kicked off his morning by posting a truly bizarre tweet about China, denying the fact that he’d ever accused the country of manipulating currency (even though there is direct proof that he has in fact said those words). Just minutes later, the childish POTUS sent out a “Happy Easter” message, marking just how deranged and emotionally unstable he is.
However, what he tweeted after that was far more disturbing. In response to the Tax Day protests that erupted across the country in response to Trump’s secrecy and broken promises about releasing his tax returns, Trump went off on the American people in a series of tweets that were highly inappropriate coming from the President of the United States.
Bragging once again about how he’d won the Electoral College over, Trump slammed Americans for protesting and wanting transparency from their POTUS in a poorly constructed, incoherent tweet:
“I did what was an almost an impossible thing to do for a Republican – easily won the Electoral College! Now Tax Returns are brought up again?”
And then there was another tweet, implying that the rallies were held by “paid” protesters:
“Someone should look into who paid for the small organized rallies yesterday. The election is over!”
In a nutshell, the man who promised to unify America and be the president for all people is now telling Americans to sit down and shut up because “the election is over.” Trump’s message to Americans is one of resentment and disrespect. He does not deserve to represent the people of this country.
