It’s only a day after the Easter holiday and Donald Trump is back at it on Twitter, going off on early morning rants and throwing childish, incoherent temper tantrums.
On Monday morning, Trump decided to indulge in one of his favorite pastimes – one that always seems to get him in trouble. Completely unprovoked by his target, Trump attacked former President Barack Obama’s foreign policy and tagged Fox and Friends, obviously inspired by something he’d just watched on television when he could have been working on his own lacking foreign policy. Trump, delusional as ever, tweeted:
“The first 90 days of my presidency has exposed the total failure of the last eight years of foreign policy!” So true #foxandfriends
Trump was reacting to a segment he’d watched that featured Michael J. Knowles, the author of “Reasons To Vote For Democrats: A Comprehensive Guide.” Trump also endorsed Knowles’ book on Twitter, making a disgusting attack on the Democratic Party.
“A great book for your reading enjoyment: “Reasons To Vote For Democrats” by Michael J. Knowles.”
Knowles’ book is 266 pages long, and every single page is blank. It’s the perfect tweet to sum up just how immature Trump really is.
It’s amazing that as North Korea has launched a (failed) missile and we’ve just attacked Syria and Afghanistan, Trump can still find the time to insult former President Obama instead of worrying about the fact that he has zero foreign policy at this point of his presidency. If Trump would stop watching Fox and Friends and tweeting so much, maybe his approval rating wouldn’t be almost nonexistent and he’d actually get something done. Bashing Obama isn’t doing Trump any favors, but unfortunately our orange POTUS doesn’t have the maturity or intellect to understand that.
