In what may be the most offensive and unremorseful moments of the Donald Trump administration yet, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer tried to use Adolf Hitler in comparison to Syrian President Assad in a way that tried to say Assad was worse. He claimed that Hitler didn’t use chemical weapons during World War II, which we no is absolutely false considering that is how he slaughtered millions of Jews at Nazi Concentrations Camps.
It was sloppy, irresponsible, and absolutely false. Either Spicer is that dumb, or he’s a Holocaust denier, and with his use of the phrase “Holocaust Centers” it seems the latter may be true.
In agreement that Spicer is denying the existence of major parts of the Holocaust as a defense of Trump’s use of Tomahawk missiles in Syria, the Anne Frank Center has released a statement calling for Trump to fire Sean Spicer immediately.
The statement reads:
SEAN SPICER DENIES HITLER GASSED JEWS DURING THE HOLOCAUST. MR. PRESIDENT, FIRE SEAN SPICER NOW.
In his afternoon press briefing, Sean Spicer invoked Adolf Hitler in describing Syrian President Assad. Spicer said “Even Hitler didn’t sink to using chemical weapons.”
Reaction of Steven Goldstein, Executive Director of the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect: “On Passover no less, Sean Spicer has engaged in Holocaust denial, the most offensive form of fake news imaginable, by denying Hitler passed millions of Jews to death. Spicer’s statement is the most evil slur upon a group of people we have ever heard from a White House press secretary. Sean Spicer now lacks the integrity to serve as White House press secretary, and President Trump must fire him at once.” #Antisemitism #NeverAgain”

If Trump does not take decisive action and fire Spicer for his egregious remarks, then it can be assumed that the *president is in agreement with them.
Spicer must be fired. This isn’t a partisan issue. This is about human decency and respect for Jewish people and the atrocities that were unjustly thrust upon them.
