  • Trump Invited This Singer To Perform At His Inauguration. Her Response Will Make Him FURIOUS (TWEET)

    News, Politics

President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration only seems to get more negative press coverage as the days go by. Trump is only days from his big day, and he’s still experiencing a shortage in performing acts that has never been seen before.

Before Trump, performing at an inauguration was a high honor and opportunity that many high-profile artists wouldn’t be able to pass up – but that’s not the case this time. Despite the fact that almost all celebrities have already refused to perform at Trump’s undeserved ceremony, Trump is still desperately trying to fill in the space but continues to be humiliated every time. So far, his parade has been shortened due to the lack of desire for his celebration. Trump has even resorted to lying about increased record sales for the little-known acts that have agreed to perform.

Trump is now facing another major embarrassment, as Trump’s team continues the search to find musicians that will perform for him. They’ve just asked Welsh singer Charlotte Church to sing at his inauguration, and they got shut down in the best way. While many singers have opted to quietly decline, Church’s rejection of Trump is not only public, but it’s brutal.

Giving Trump a taste of his own medicine, Church responded to Trump directly on Twitter and made it perfectly clear that she would never perform for him. She not only called him a “tyrant”, but she made sure to include several poo emojis to express how she truly feels about the President-elect.

Wow. Church can now be added to the ever-growing list of artists that want nothing to do with Trump’s bigotry – a list that includes artists like Elton John, opera singer Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion, and John Legend. Legend actually described this phenomenon perfectly when he said:

“Creative people tend to reject bigotry and hate. We tend to be more liberal-minded. When we see somebody that’s preaching division and hate and bigotry, it’s unlikely he’ll get a lot of creative people that want to be associated with him.”

Trump’s inauguration is going to be a massive humiliation for him – and he deserves every second of shame.
