After Donald Trump took to Twitter to criticize Meryl Streep’s Golden Globe’s Acceptance Speech–(which we all know was about him), singer Barbara Streisand ripped Trump a new one on her interview with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews.
The video shows Streisand taking jab after jab at the President-elect for his untrustworthy statements, his bizarre and moronic tweets, and his inability to accept the fact that he did indeed mock a disabled reporter.
Streisand says MSNBC:
“Why isn’t he sitting through briefings rather than tweeting this nonsense?” Streisand asked of the president-elect. “And in a ratings war with Arnold Schwarzenegger? I don’t know how we’re going to take four years of this.”
The iconic singer also adds:
“You can’t trust anything he says because if you get on his wrong side he will blast you negatively.”
When asked about her thoughts on Meryl Streep’s Golden Globes speech, she said:
“I thought she said what she said beautifully and it’s easy enough to see the video online of Trump mocking and I completely agree with Meryl: it was a heartbreaking moment and so beneath the dignity of the presidency, let alone any respectful person”
Streisand continued to preach that Donald Trump needs to restrain himself from lashing out on others who do not agree with him:
“What he did and how he reacts and how he has the need to talk back and insult anybody who doesn’t agree with him and that’s pretty disgraceful.”
Many people discussed how Trump will now lash out at Streisand for her honest opinion of him, while cheering on the Hollywood sensation via Twitter:
