Donald Trump’s position on Russia and the intelligence community is getting him in lots of trouble. So much trouble in fact that a man who was instrumental in helping him get elected has now left the Trump transition team and is trying to get as far as possible from the president-elect. Trump has defended Russian hacking and has thrown the entire intelligence community under the bus in the wake of a CIA investigation that concluded Russia helped the bombastic billionaire become the 45th president of the United States.
Former CIA Director James Woolsey, who has been a staunch Trump ally and at times has idiotically defended Trump’s positions, has had it. Here’s the announcement:

The announcement comes in the wake of Trump’s alarming defense of Russia and his attack on the entire intelligence community. There are reports that he plans to completely revamp the CIA:
“Trump is targeting the CIA and the DNI as he publicly wars with the U.S. intelligence community over its conclusion that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election. The president-elect has vehemently denied that Russian hacking of Democratic organizations before Election Day aided his White House bid.”
Trump, who has been merciless in his attacks, seems to have had a change of heart, just today posting that he’s a ‘big fan’ of the intelligence community in the wake of the outrage. He took to blaming the media:
to make up their own minds as to the truth. The media lies to make it look like I am against "Intelligence" when in fact I am a big fan!

It seems logical that the sh*t list you don’t want to be on is the CIA’s. Perhaps he’s finally coming to that realization.
