Megyn Kelly brilliantly demolished a Donald Trump supporter who wants to impetrate Japanese internment camps as precedent for a proposed registry of Muslims. Let’s just say this man has completely lost his f**king mind.
During Fox News’ segment of “The Kelly File,” Carl Higbie, a former Navy SEAL, a co-chair of Great America PAC for Donald Trump, and world-class bigot argued in favor of the registry, which he compared to World War II-era Japanese internment camps. The Republican Navy SEAL said:
“We’ve done it based on race. We’ve done it based on religion. We’ve done it based on region.”
Kelly immediately called him out on his delusional statement:
“Come on,” she said, “you’re not proposing we go back to the days of internment camps, I hope. You know better than to suggest that. That’s the kind of stuff that gets people scared, Carl.”
GOP advisors to President-elect Donald Trump are reportedly considering to actually create a registry of immigrants who come to the United States from Muslim countries, Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who reportedly is a “key member of Trump’s transition team,” told Reuters on Tuesday.
The fact that President-elect Trump and his clan of racist minions want to take America back 75 years is unbelievable. Japanese internment was a damning period for America and any kind of similar repetition of that should not happen. These so-called “geniuses” are trying to use one of the most shameful events in American history to justify the bullsh*t they’re advocating. Wake up, America–this is the administration you just voted into office.
