Some of you may have let it slide when Libertarian candidate for president Gary Johnson didn’t know what Aleppo was, or rather where, or its significance in the refugee crisis, which you would think anyone running for POTUS should know, but I digress…
However, this go-around, it’s kind of hard to ignore the fact that Johnson really might not be the sharpest tool in the shed.
He’s proven, yet again, that he’s a few sandwiches short of a picnic with is latest answer regarding global warming.
While Johnson does admit that climate change is, in fact, real and man-made, he doesn’t so much think we should be doing anything about it in regards to funding because in his words:
“In billions of years, the sun is actually gonna grow and encompass the Earth. So, global warming is in our future.”
This was after he said we shouldn’t be involved with cap and trade taxation and we should actually be building more coal-fired plants.
Johnson literally believes that the Earth is going to become a fiery mess anyway, so why spend money to fix it? We should instead apparently help speed up the process by increasing fossil fuel factory emissions.
He’s pretty much saying, “we’re already f*cked, so f*ck it.”
Remember this come election day.
