Hillary Clinton appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday night, and as to be expected, Kimmel had some pretty funny questions lined up, as well as a few comedy bits to make Clinton perform.
At one point, Kimmel asked Clinton about her health, because Donald Trump and his lackeys have been out in full force trying to convince whoever will believe it that Clinton is unfit for office due to her health.
“Back in October, the National Enquirer said I would be dead in six months. o with every breath I take, I feel like … a new lease on life.”
“I don’t know why they are saying this. I think, on the one hand, it’s part of the wacky strategy — just say all these crazy things, and maybe you can get some people to believe you. On the other hand, it just makes absolutely no sense. I don’t go around questioning Donald Trump’s health. As far as I can tell, he’s as healthy as a horse.”
With policy proposals reminiscent of horse shit, but I digress…
To prove she’s in good health, Kimmel had her open a jar of pickles. Something many of us, even if in the greatest of shape, have some difficulty doing. Yet, Clinton opened it with ease.
Kimmel also had Clinton pull actual Trump quotes out of a fish bowl with a Trump wig on top. Her challenge was to keep a straight face.
The first one was:
“I think apologizing is a great thing, but you have to be wrong. I will absolutely apologize some time in the hopefully distant future if I’m ever wrong.”
Without cracking a smile, she simply said, “that’s profound.”
The next one read:
“Number one, I have great respect for women. I was the one that really broke the glass ceiling on behalf of women more than anyone in the construction industry.”
Both Kimmel and Clinton seemed to agree that he may have broken a literal glass ceiling somewhere along the way.
She then read a quote about firing Rosie O’Donnell and hurling insults at her. Clinton didn’t have a problem not laughing at that and said, “that’s not funny.”
Then came the last quote. Clinton pulled it out of the glass bowl, looked at it, cringed a little, folded it back up and quickly passed it back to Kimmel to read.
What did it say?
“I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter perhaps I’d be dating her.”
Clinton just looks away and shakes her head while Kimmel reiterates that they didn’t make those quotes up. They are actual things that Donald Trump has said.
