Whether you are a fan of Hillary Clinton’s or not, this new ad is just simply over the top. Not only is it potentially libelous, but it politicizes the deaths of Americans serving the country. In a new pro-Trump ad about to be released by the National Rifle Association (NRA), the pro-Trump camp once again attacks Hillary Clinton for the tragedy in Benghazi, this time using this disturbing video, costing an estimated $2 million:
Watch video below:
The ad’s announcement came just hours after an interview with the sister of Libya’s former Ambassador Chris Stevens, who was killed in the Benghazi attacks. She said:
“I do not blame Hillary Clinton or Leon Panetta. They were balancing security efforts at embassies and missions around the world. And their staffs were doing their best to provide what they could with the resources they had.”
In a press conference following the House Committee’s final report which couldn’t find direct blame on Clinton, despite years and $7 million in wasted taxpayer money, Clinton had this to say:
“No one has thought more about or lost more sleep over the lives that we lost, the four Americans, which was devastating.”
She also noted improvements in security in the wake of the attack and that she was one of the first people to call for an investigation. She said, “I think it’s pretty clear it’s time to move on.”
In the end, it really comes down to the moral standards the GOP has set for itself: Tthe use of millions of dollars for an investigation that was political in nature and the politicization of dead Americans serving our country in an NRA sponsored video, proves that Republicans are no longer a respectable political party.
